...and yes I am now nineteen- one more year of teenager-dom, and then I will be, rather scarily, an adult. How swiftly the years pass. It's getting a little freaky actually, how quickly things are going. Why, I remember my first day of high school like it was yesterday. The innocence, naivety, bad dress sense.... not having to pay $300 a semester for school books.... I do prefer uni though. It's just... different... and so much better. People in my classes actually want to learn, they're not just there because the law says they have to be. Well mostly. The psych lectures are starting to annoy me, what with the 300 people packed into one lecture theatre and the cliquey little groups that won't shut up. Ugh. At least they run 2 lectures a day though, so I can sometimes escape the chatter and go to the quieter one. I like that freedom, and the fact that we're not forced to go to our lectures, so that means that if I do turn up to them, there's this great sense of achievement that I've managed to shut up that tiny, very lazy voice in my head telling me not to go.
